The title of the song is a combination of Dutch and French and literally translates to 'Hunter in the Shadow', partially hinting at the subject matter of the track. It is a dark epic which tells the story of a character who struggles with personal demons in the forms of depression and anxiety. Something many of us can relate to, as mental problems seem to be THE 'modern disease' of our generation and age, which leaves one wondering if we are actually advancing by complicating our lives with unnecessary technologies that result in social 'over-connectedness'. By combining timbres heard on works by Opeth, Steven Wilson, Tool, Led Zeppelin, we have tried to take our music to the next level with this one, providing more depth & story than in our previous releases. Shivers down his spine.
